The exhibition devoted to the nine-year-long partisan struggle for the reestablishment of the independent state shows the territorial structure of partisan units and the military organisation, as well as the everyday lives of the freedom fighters. Original documents, periodicals and other publications, manuscripts and personal belongings are displayed. The photographs have immortalised the faces of the freedom fighters, holidays, which were rare, and the sad moments of paying a last tribute to friends-in-arms.
